Why do you wish he wins the Heisman? His numbers are pretty good this year, but his resume has a lot of flaws in it. JM loses two games and looks rather pedestrian against LSU, but gets all the attention because he beat the #1 team on the road? Granted it was a great game and win for him, but Klein only has one loss and one poor game and essentially gets removed from the discussion? The same logic is being used for a few other players, but he doesn't get penalized? I could also argue that he is the product of Sumlins offense. Look at Sumlins QB last year. I think he had better numbers. I could also argue that for the last 10-12 years offenses have been evolving and putting up huge numbers over and over. I think it's safe to say that JM's numbers will be surpassed in the not too distant future. What's most puzzling is this. Here is the first setence of the Heisman mission statement. "The Heisman Memorial Trophy annually recognizes the outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity". JM was arrested earlier this year for underage drinking, fake id and getting into a fight. I know 18 & 19 year old kids will drink, but this isn't what the Heisman is really about.
