🏈 Gig'Em Tide, Gig The Hell out of Those Irish

It probably doesn't need to be said, but I'll say it anyway: Tide Nation has the 12th Man behind them on January 7th, 2013. Please 'beat the hell out of Notre Dame' and don't stop until 00 is on the clock in the 4th quarter. We all know ND is overrated and should be completely outmatched against you guys. It'd be a bonus to have Lacy or Yeldon embarrass Teo as well.

Gig'Em!
(for those really confused: gig'em is our way of saying: spear 'em)

He had better win this year! I'm not so sure about the future. He clearly has talent and an instinct that can't be taught, but losing two 1st round draft tackles next year is going to throw a wrench in the gears. Maybe one will stay.

Welcome aboard.

I can assure you, no one here is confused about gig-'em.

I'm not sure I support Manziel for Heisman this year. If he continues on this road next year, I will fully support him just not sure I like the idea of a Freshman getting it, let alone a true Freshman.

This was on during the Texas vs Kansas State game.

After seeing him in person playing the Tide, I don't think it matters. He is unbelievable. I hope he gets the Heisman this year.

Welcome aboard.

Just wondering how many tickets will bama get for the game and also how hard is it to get one? With my football team in England (Aston Villa) big games are sold through priority windows.

Why do you wish he wins the Heisman? His numbers are pretty good this year, but his resume has a lot of flaws in it. JM loses two games and looks rather pedestrian against LSU, but gets all the attention because he beat the #1 team on the road? Granted it was a great game and win for him, but Klein only has one loss and one poor game and essentially gets removed from the discussion? The same logic is being used for a few other players, but he doesn't get penalized? I could also argue that he is the product of Sumlins offense. Look at Sumlins QB last year. I think he had better numbers. I could also argue that for the last 10-12 years offenses have been evolving and putting up huge numbers over and over. I think it's safe to say that JM's numbers will be surpassed in the not too distant future. What's most puzzling is this. Here is the first setence of the Heisman mission statement. "The Heisman Memorial Trophy annually recognizes the outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity". JM was arrested earlier this year for underage drinking, fake id and getting into a fight. I know 18 & 19 year old kids will drink, but this isn't what the Heisman is really about.

Stop being butt hurt that your better than average LB isn't going to win the Heisman. Poor games for a LB are hard to quantify, but I'd say a few 3 solo tackle games are pretty piss poor against Boston College and Pittsburgh. Go home. You are dumb to think Klein wouldn't have struggled against LSU, Florida and Alabama.

I'd give the Heisman to D.Moore or J.Jones or even J.Clowney over Teo.

Be careful trying to reason with an Aggie. They are not referring to him as JFF anymore, its now JH (I'm not kidding - I live in Texas). Also, they'll tell you that if Manziel was the QB at Texas, he'd have already won the award ( some would call this being butthurt...but I digress).

I don't think the Notre Dame's LB should win the trophy either, tough year for me to pick one. Manziel has put up the crazy numbers, but so has another QB. What about Monte Ball...or Barrett Jones :)
