All I know is last week only means something if we go out and play the same way again. If we learn from it and put it behind us and play like we can and win the west and beat whomever (hopefully USC) in the SECCG and cruise into the BCS Championship. We all know Ohio State, Oklahoma, Aubie, LSU and Nebraska will al loose. We will hand the losses to LSU and Aubie. Who give a crap where Boise Fraud finishes, we will jump them. We control our own destiny, lets move forward and Roll the whole nation!!! RTR!

Let me make sure I have this straight; an "apparent" Georgia State fan (see ya' on Nov. 18th?) is lurking on an Alabama Crimson Tide football site and decides to do a drive-by to remind us of two recent bad seasons we had back in '06 and '07? Yeah, right. What a poser. As long as you're talking football history, why don't you tell us which team you cheer for other than Ga. St.?

And what were those pearls of wisdom you offered again? "Fans look forward; not backwards". I suppose if you don't have anything to look back at and be proud of, that's probably true. We Alabama fans have the luxury of looking forward to greats things to continue as well as the great tradition of our past. But, you wouldn't know anything about that, now would you?

Pardon us, Barner, if we take a pass on your advice on how to be a good fan. We'll see YOU on November 26th.

After reading some of your earlier posts, I realize now that you're a new Bama fan who is coming a long way to see Bama play against Ga St. In my zeal to head off the taunting lurkers from other schools after our loss, I overreacted. I hope you accept my humble apology.

Understand guys, and this is not a flame... That NS teams have a history of playing flat following a huge year. See LSU 02 (5 losses after an SEC Championship) , LSU '04 (3 losses after a NC) Miami in his second year with the 'Fins and even back to Mich St. (limited success one year followed by a decline the next) iT'S HIS M.O. it just is.

Yep, I think it has more to do with the lack of names like Rolando McClain, Javy Arenas, Mount Cody, Kareem Jackson, etc.... than Saban's "M.O."

The loss was a bad one, no doubt. But, we can still make a BCS bowl game. I do not think we are headed back to the national title game, but we should be able to at least get back to the SEC Title game. Now, if we choke tomorrow night, I'll feel different. But until then, I have faith in CNS and the program.
