ESPNHS: What was it like receiving your first scholarship offer?

Morris: Two years ago, it didn’t even cross my mind that I would play college football, let alone Alabama. Once I started realizing I could play college football, it took off. I got my first offer when I was with my friends at In-N-Out Burger. Wake Forest called and offered me a scholarship. I was super excited. It’s definitely something I’m going to remember for a long time.

Something there a lot have forgotten. Especially when you start comparing where one QB is to another if that other QB has been tossing the pigskin around since Jr. High.

Thought his name was Alex... Seriously dude is all about the team much like Blake Sims last year. Will do whatever is asked of him. If he ends up playing it will be a great story. Heard from many on here he knows the offense through and through. Also heard he wants to coach someday. I say Starting QB for Alabama would look mighty impressive on the resume.

I liked Morris last year and didn't think the coaches gave him much of a chance in game situations to show what he could do. However, he has had the ball stripped from him while in the pocket at least twice and failed to follow the RB into the hole when the handoff was botched (Saban jumped him about that). Regardless, I believe the coaches know best and I'll support whoever they select as QB (no moaning from me).
