šŸˆ Georgia players expect no dip at Alabama under new defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt

Not to mention I wouldn't put too much stock in what UGA players said. I'm glad to hear he's a "players coach" but there's a world of difference in the discipline required in Athens and in Tuscaloosa.

I don't know if it is more of a lack of discipline at UGA or the fact that they get most of their players from GA. Most of our trouble players seem to come from the state of GA, at least since we really started recruiting there. May be an issue with discipline at the HS level in that state.

He is, that does not mean he isn't a good coach. Also, maybe he has grown out of it some. I hope so.
It's my opinion this comes down to what Saban is comfortable with; he's had his issues with Jeremy in the past. In a sense, it's not unlike the hiring of Kiffin. Both guys are assholes, but they bring something to the staff Saban finds useful, challenging.
I'm struggling to see the value this article brings. I'm not really a fan of Talty's articles, they seem to lack substance most of the time.

Sort of echoing what Tim said ...

If we were to pick the top three questions Saban will hear in June, we'd find 1) QB, 2) RB, 3) the change from Kirby to Jeremy.

The first question on QB's isn't a bad one, but it's also been answered the last two years. We've seen the team leave spring camp with question marks on QB play only to have those answered, resoundingly, in the fall.

The second question is answered with the progression we've seen in the depth chart each season. Like the QB position, we've seen new starters each season. We've seen questions along the lines of "can they handle ..." And, like the QB position, those questions are answered in the fall.

Seeing those two answered each year leaves those questions a little hollow today. Honestly, how many pundits are really suspicious of how Kiffin will do with a new QB, or how Burns will do with a new featured back?

That leaves Pruitt. I suspect we'll see these types of questions up until the month of October. What strikes me as odd is how these pundits have seen Pruitt's defenses at FSU and UGA and now wonder how he'll do with this group of players?
