I live in Georgia and listen to A LOT of sports radio and I will guarantee that Richt will be HC of UGA next year. They still love him, regardless of what happens this season. They will hire a new DC, but they won't replace Richt.

Why does everyone assume that wearing a different uni is automatically "gimmicky". I'm willing to bet that no one on this site said that it was gimmicky when Alabama did it a couple years ago.....because it was Alabama.

When have we ever made a wholesale change on our uniforms, for a single "big" game?

That or because it wasn't about dressing up for the big game, but to honor an anniversary involving Bryant. Big difference. Wearing black helmets just for the sole purpose of pumping up your team is the very essence of a gimmick. Just because you happen to like it doesn't change that fact.

Not bragging, but I called out Richt out years ago and got flames ROYALLY for doing so. He was still considered a great coach then.......
Now it seems the truth is becoming clear for everyone to see. Richt only had moderate success because every team around him was in trasition or or had a bad coach. When other coaches got back on a level field, they passed him like he was sitting still. His best days as Gerogia coach are in the rear view mirror.

Simple, I don't even own a pair of Crimson colored glasses, much less wear them over a pair of crimson colored contacts with crimson colored clip-on shades. I hate Bammers even more than Barners & Viles. Nothing is going to change that, ever. It's objective or nothing.

Not that simple. You try so to hard to be objective that you'll even argue against common sense. Saying that wearing a different color jersey is a gimmick doesn't mean you're wearing crimson shades...it just means you know the definition of "gimmick."
