Please! Someone tell me this didn't happen, or at least there's a reasonable explanation for it, like someone was about to die and Stallings was playing the goodguy and simple trying to ease the passing of a friend.

CGS is a very gracious person, and I am sure there is an explanation. I expect that this picture was taken several years ago.

He probably picked the Legumes in 2003 because he saw similarities in the Miami speed hype they were getting with the 1992 Miami team we destroyed,

What's entertaining here, to me, is they relish in looking back and how and why they won that game. But, today, those same comments don't apply to the Sugar Bowl.

I would think that this was Stallings doing this when Ohio State played Texas in the Fiesta bowl a few years ago. He's still got a tad of A&M in him.

The picture seems to not exist on the internet before about the tenth of this month. That indicates that it is probably recent. Someone just needs to find Stallings and ask him about it

I think it's an old photo that has been scanned. If you look at the 2nd person from the left the image is distorted.
