...just checking work email and I've got a few from USCe beat writers stating CBS has selected the game.

Sort of thought it would work out this way...

EDIT: Checked personal mail, got a few stating the same thing there as well...but, from Bama folks.

Great! The quicker those things are out of the way, the better.

I think they may have waited until Sunday to decide...until they saw what our defense did to Arkansas, took Florida's defense into account...and logic dictated what game would be the best.

I'm also thinking it gives them some material to work with considering we play USCe, and we'll have a common opponent for them to discuss as well.

Announcement probably won't come until Sunday.

So, what's the over-under on when the Auburn fans start complaining about CBS only covering Bama games?

help me out here. I'm reading your post here. But what I have seen is CBS is showing at 2:30 is the Houston vs Tulane game and at 6:30 it will be the Miami vs UCF game. I thought the SEC is the first to get on at CBS? ESPN isn't showing it at all. Will it be the sec game of the week??

what I see is the Houston vs Tulane is on CBSC - CBS College Sports channel (i believe is what it's called).

CBS has had either Arkansas @ Florida or S. Carolina @ Alabama at the 2:30 p.m. spot. Based on what Terry's saying, we got it.

I just got a note from one of the guys at work and he said since UGA lost to UT (unexpected by CBS) that they've made a change.

It's his supposition it means that we'll be back on CBS for the Bama vs UT game...but, it was a calvacade of the whimsies that threw the wrench in the works.

Georgia losing...Auburn losing...LSU losing...
