I thought Ole Miss' last play in the LSU game was similarly stupid. The quarterback throws a hail Mary pass to the end zone with 23 seconds left. Been a long time since I played high school football, but 23 seconds is time for at least 2 more plays.

Once again, Hugh Freeze fails to kick a FG on 4th down...had he done that and made it, the game could have ended much differently.

With regards to the Penn State vs Maryland game, apparently James Franklin talked some trash about Maryland in the offseason...and one of the coin flip guys responded in the offseason...so this has been brewing for a while.

Spurrier is an asshole...would be funny if they lose to Florida and Clemson and don't make a bowl this year.

@planomateo I recall Franklin saying Maryland and New Jersey were part of PSU's home recruiting base. I also recall him saying Maryland wasn't a rivalry. (It seems he may have stoked the fire a bit, can't recall if it was at the Terps, by calling in a radio show over the summer.)

My opinion is that doesn't justify a thing.
