I imagine Oxford will be screaming it next fall
I've got the game playing on one of my monitors so maybe I misunderstood him.

I thought he was talking about the USF defense, specifically giving credit to their DC, Allen.

If he hasn't been hired officially yet, it's my understanding he's at the top of the list for AU.

Been out of the loop, so I was unaware of Allen being in the hunt for the Barner DC job. Reading some of the Barner message boards late last week, they seemed to be content with Lance Thompson!:eyeroll::notall::popcorn2:

Great game. Time to watch Bama basketball
When there's that little defense being played I have a hard time saying it was a great game.

Now, for a minor bowl, on a Monday afternoon no less, it certainly wasn't boring.

45 - 35 as a final, over 1200 yards of total offense, and a whopping 55 first downs combined ... but there's one stat from this game that's just weird. I'm tempted to use the word anomaly because I can't say I recall seeing these numbers before.

With those numbers I just listed I'd have never expected to see: 5 for 29 on 3rd down conversions (both teams combined.) That number on 3rd down would normally mean a fairly low scoring, defensive type of ball game.
