🏈 Game week - Auburn

Although I think we'll win I'm not about to underestimate the Barn.

They're playing to ruin Alabama's chances at a playoff birth. That's enough for them which will make them spirited
First time Johnson or White see this, one will crap in their pants!

Throw the record books out is a phrase that needs to be thrown out with this game.

Sorry but my nervous past games keep me humble. since 1984 usually you can throw out the predictions and the stats that favors one over the other

Since 1984, the underdog in this game has won five times as I recall. When Auburn comes into this game with six wins or less ... playing a ranked Bama team, I seem to recall that record being 0-22.

The barners are excited, but I can not figure out for the life of me why that is. Was a 56-34 win over a TERRIBLE Idaho team enough to bolster their confidence that much? A lot of them are pointing to 2002 as a reason to believe they can pull this off. 2002 was a completely different time. I mean, yeah, they pulled the upset that day, but still, the gap between the two teams way back then was not near what it is now. Plus, (not to make excuses) but we were on probation, so we had nothing to play for that day other than state pride, and our coach at the time was about to bolt. The barners failt o realize any of this. They just think that they are going to win, period. As someone stated earlier, upsets in this series have happened, but NOT when the gap between the two sides is this wide. I see this being akin to 2008, 2011, and 2012.

Bama 40 barn 10

To echo similar statements ..

Barn is gonna come out swinging. they will show the Kick Six 97,856 tines. They will hang around for a quarter or two. Bama pulls away in the second half and makes their asses quit.

I honestly think the idea of playing spoiler to Bama again excites them more than the thought of winning a championship ..

Barring the following things happening, Bama wins easily:

- Coker throws 5 INT's, right arm subsequently falls off
- Each 1st string Bama D-Lineman breaks both femurs
- Derrick Henry does his best "Wrong Way Bo" impression...twice...each half.
- Cam Newton successfully undergoes "Face Off" type transplant procedure with Jeremy Johnson and heals/recovers in time to play for Auburn, then throws 5 TD's and runs for 3 more.

If Coker tries to throw deep a good it and gets picked off 3+ times which isn't that farfetched and maybe a fumble or two, I could see the game staying tighter than expected IFF auburn scores accidentally 2+ times by hiding the ball in the back of their jerseys... but the 4th quarter will be a tough one for auburn in the trenches. BAMA BY 17

What bothers me is when all the talking heads on TV are saying things like "Auburn doesn't have a chance." and I've already been hearing that.
Personally, I think the outcome shouldn't be in question, but experience says that the team has been in those positions before and "bought" into the hype - even when Coach Saban was preaching differently. (Last year vs osu for example) I just want the Tide to come out swinging and not stop until the game is over!
Win BIG baby!!!
ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!!

This. It just reinforces their inferiority complex and is why they are CONSUMED by what's happening in Tuscaloosa no matter how good/bad they are. Clowns.

Too funny but I don't see why its a big deal to anyone. These guys are focused on school, practice, game plan, conditioning...especially your center who is studying blocking schemes and tendencies. I bet if you gave him a number rather than a name he would at least know where he played. This is a non issue that the media is blowing out of proportion to try and help the hype.. they need it to sell more of these expensive commercials.

Cyrus's comment was more of an issue but taken in context of the whole interview it wasn't as bad as they are making it either.

Haven't heard one interview of and Auburn Player period.. they are laying low.

Bingo, what else is the media going to talk about.

Gus' bad ass offensive system, Muschamp's stellar defense, the fact that Auburn is the #7 team in the SEC West standings (in other words, dead last), the fact their QB's have only accounted for 9 TD's and 9 INT's, that they'll be going to Birmingham for their bowl game, etc...

PLEASE!! If one of their OLmen said they never heard of Ragland or Robinson about 80% of this board would be up in arms...looker room material...disrespecting...he'll know after Saturday type stuff.

Well it would definately be a surprise if their o-line didn't know him. He has played in prime time every week for 4 years. Lawson has been hurt for two years and Auburn leads the SEC in 11:00 games on the ESPN U or SEC. College kids are still sleeping by 11:00 so none them see him play. Besides Saban demands more focus on their job out of his players and less focus on other teams and what the media thinks.
