The Wildcat isn't the problem. Having 10 players running it is. An elite D keying the run is an elite D keying the run. It doesn't matter if it's the SS or a DT making the tackle. GMac is standing out there saying, 'Oh, don't mind me. I'm just gonna stand here for a minute.' When that happens, you've got 11 guys focusing on stopping 10 guys and that's no good.
IDK if we have a RB or WR that can throw the ball....wait.....put Earl Alexander back there and an actual WR in GMac's place at wide-out then the D has a real problem!
