I'll re-read this thread later on this morning but one thing I noticed last night (before walking away from this thread due to the temptation to say things I didn't need to say) is you were on a HUGE roller-coaster, emotionally.

This likely deserves a thread of its own. I realize your view is likely shaped by the breakdown or two we see each year in our special teams play that result in TD's.

This game reminds me of the song johnny cash where he sang about the boy named sue, where he said he was kicking and gouging in the mud and the blood and the beer. I feel about the same way now. A game like that is hard to take.

I was and not afraid to admit it. Bama football affects me more than anything anyway and when we play the most hated team on our schedule, it's even worse. I LOVE ALABAMA FOOTBALL and all other sports that bama plays. If we played tiddly winks I would expect to win that too.

In it's own way you getting so caught up is entertaining. I MUCH prefer your semi-rants to those who come on the game threads and bitch and you don't see hide nor hair of them any other time of the season. Sure, they may lurk...but, very seldom do you see what I'd call thought driven, provoking analysis.

the only time you'll see me post in a game thread is after the game. i will NEVER post in a game thread during the game.

i did that for 2 different games (on a different board) back in 2008 and we lost those 2 games. so i will never do it again.

yeah, i know that what and when i post has no bearing on the game.....but still.

I started sippin on rum and red bull bout a hour before the game... by the time Yeldon scored his second TD I was pretty gone... By Sims third pick I was 100% sober again. I have literally never had that happen before... Didnt touch a drop again until Henry's TD in the fourth... After that.... well I dont remember much

Jill, stop in Elizabethtown about halfway through your trip. Take some pictures and see if you can find some of the sites found in the movie. Hell, what's a couple of hours more on a...I'm guessing, 18-20 hour trip.
