Lightning Strikes in Tallahassee
Tallahassee, Fl – Lightning struck for Florida State as the Seminoles took care of business Saturday, winning 45 – 21. Jameis Winston, suspended thirty minutes by Coach Jimbo Fisher for inappropriate behavior, played the entire game after a lightning strike delayed the start.
ā€œJameis is deeply sorry for what he did,ā€ said Fisher. ā€œHe served his time, and we’re all ready to move on.ā€
Winston came to the sideline after one touchdown pass and demonstrated his school spirit as he climbed onto a bench, gestured to the crowd, and though inaudible over the noise of the stadium apparently mentioned something about saving felines at the local animal shelter. Fisher concurred.
ā€œJameis is a caring young man who believes in saving all domestic pets. He often volunteers his time in this mission.ā€
In addition to helping his team win football games, Winston has been known to provide resources to the local soup kitchen, including donating crab legs at various times.
Meanwhile, FSU took care of business Saturday, winning the football game while making copious amounts of money for the university.
ā€œThat’s really what we’re about,ā€ said Fisher. ā€œThe stands were packed. There was a tremendous television audience. Life is good.ā€
