I'm leaving my neighborhood this morning and in front of me is a rather large gentleman driving a convertible Miata, crimson red, with white "racing" stripe down the middle and... wait for it... a personalized AU tag.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
It's like his heart was telling him one thing and his Sociology degree was saying something else...<o:p></o:p>

On the outside the have to hate Alabama, but on the inside they really just want to be like Alabama.... That should explain it :)

I find those amusing everyday. I work with some like that and they give me the line about Crimson being their favorite color but loving the Barn. To me though, the big kicker is that on that personalized tag, it will always have ALABAMA on it. You know that "chaps their arse"!!

Yes will alway have bama on the tag.

This is easy. Him being an Auburn fan, clearly he still lives at home and his Mom who is a Bama fan and she handed down to him the Miata she use to drive. That tag was a failed attempt to salvage dignity.

Was there a bumper sticker that read "Its a Carrage House, not a Garage."?

Man, talking about Schizo....I see a lot of red or crimson colored cars here and around the 'Ham with auburn stickers and junk on them. Not too many "Got Six?" stickers anymore though. Seems they've been replaced by "Got Thirty-Six?" as in 36-0, stickers.

That old car flag thief has been stealing auburn stuff off of cars pretty regularly the past two years. I sure hope they can catch him!

Auburn pioneered the Cicada effect: Every 17 years those little buggers climb out of some hole and make a lot of annoying noise...and then go away.

I know it's wrong. I know it's Mean. i know it's down right dasterdly and classless. Which is why i'm only admitting it here amoungst pals.

Every season i carry a pair of very sharp sciccors in the truch with me.
Just so i can cut the tiger tails off thier cars in the wal-mart parking lot. :frown:

Yeah.....i know.....i'm so evil.

Bama fans don't drive convertible miatas. At least our MALE fans don't. Sorry if any of you guys drive miatas. If so, war eegul to ya.

 I get a kick out of seeing grown men drive little cars like that. I see it a lot where I work. The area is better know for um same sex relationships.

We have a couple that's AU fans that live across the street from me and they own one grey car and two crimson colored cars. I asked the guy one time if he was a closet Bama fan and he didn't look to happen. He made sure to tell me the color was simply because he likes the color on the cars and had nothing to do with Alabama. I made sure to tell him, he'd never see me in an orange or navy blue car! lol
