📡 FUBO (sports related TV packages) has taken quite a hit the last several quarters with subscription losses.

I remember trying them out a few years ago. I also remember not liking their service; can't recall why. I want to say it had something to do with the interface and my laptop? 🤷‍♂️

In my experience they had the best interface of any of them on actual TV devices. Their quality was bad compared to other services though. It wasn't in the low action shots, those were fine. It was in high action. Their compression methodology caused high amounts of pixelation more akin to older, dithered gif images than HD. They were also the furthest behind live of all services.

Their financial issues are in their strategy and pricing since adding the RSN back into the mix. There is an RSN fee of something like $14 based on how many RSN you have and it is not disclosed in the up front price nor is it voluntary. Fubo was not cheap to begin with, but this has pushed them into the territory of DirecTV Stream and past YTTV or Hulu+Live.

RSN are very much a dividing point in the Live TV streaming arena. Many push for their service to have them at any cost while others will jump to another service if it costs them a single penny more. And there are those, like me, actively rooting for the traditional model of RSN rights to die spectacularly and the leagues begin looking more towards selling direct to consumers in and outside their home area.
