Well, I see Bama took care of business saturday. I'm seeing rumblings out and about (not here so much) some disappointments in Bama's play concerning a few specific players?? Looked good to me in the highlights I watched. You guys all good with saturdays performance?

My Sooners are in the really hot talks of bolting for the SEC, local radio media reported saturday that something was a done deal but haven't heard anything official yet. There are definitely some meetings going on about the Pac-12. Seemed like business as usual for OU on the field though. Not sure if Tulsa is the same 10-win team from a year ago, but I can say this opener was a huge improvement from last year's opener. O-line looked really good, I don't think Landry was even touched all game, literally. Lots of buzz about the walk-on RB Dominique Whaley and his big game. Wonder if that'll continue in that direction. Landry was Landry, Broyles was Broyles. Defense gave up 3 big pass plays that accounted for about 150 yards combined and 2 scores. Shore that up and its a shut out with Tulsa around 100 total yards, but ifs and buts...

Great day of our legendary tailgating, good to get back to football, sucks we're off next week! Hope you guys had a great weekend!

Glad to hear you guys had a good first game. The Bama defense is as advertised but we hope to see some improvement in our run blocking this next week or we might be in for some disappointment.

I keep hearing that Oklahoma and Texas are planning on joining the PAC-12. I have not heard much concerning the Sooners joining the SEC. What direction do you think most Sooner fans would like to go?

yeah the big stink now is OU, texas, ok st, and either missouri or kansas or texas tech are looking to join the Pac-12. This sounded like a done deal on sports radio around here saturday. People are laughing at texas now because the way things have worked out so far, Oklahoma holds the keys to the Big 12. Even texas writers are admitting that in their articles and blogs lately, (from what i've heard, i haven't read any yet), that they just want to ride with OU. We all know its not their money, or power, its their crappy attitude and egos thats pissed everyone off. And they know it now. The SEC seems to be the only road aTm wants to go. Not much talk about what would happen to the rest of the Big 12 if OU, osu, texas and whoever left. Guess they'll cross that road when they get there. OU has definitely played this thing a lot better than texas has, and it seems to be showing.

It depends on which OU fan you ask. Some want the challenge of the SEC, some want the west coast road trips. I think now no OU fan wants to stay in the big 12. osu fans are in the "can we go with OU" mode. I do think even the OU fans who want the SEC, don't mind the Pac-12 either. I think most welcome the pac-12 right now. Seems to be what is going to happen right now.
