🏈 Franklin going after a fan isn't a good look

There have actually been a few suggest he could be a viable candidate to replace Coach Saban when the time comes. I doubt that would be a consideration after yesterday's performance.

That must the same group that thought Bill Curry was a good call. We needed a football coach and not a dayum Sales Manager. Saw Franklin spending his time trying to get the crowd fired up. Give me a break. His OL got their azz handed to them the 2nd half.

This should have been the first clue.

"I've been saying it for a long time, I will not hire an assistant coach until I've seen his wife. If she looks the part, and she's a D-I recruit (one of the nation's best-of-the-best), then you got a chance to get hired. That's part of the deal."

"There's a very strong correlation between having confidence going up and talking to women, and being quick on your feet and having some personality and confidence and being fun and articulate, than it is walking into a high school and recruiting a kid and selling him."

Hasn't he done this before? Or am I mistaking him for someone else?

That last drive was so freaking mind boggingly awful. He calls a read option on third-and-long. That's bad enough but at least you can say "well we had one more down and maybe you break one right there" but on fourth down Ohio State was BEGGING them to pass it. They brought the house and showed the blitz from the minute they lined up. He called time out and they came right back out and showed the same thing. They even looked to the sideline and either checked to that read option or were pretending to check to something else. But jesus christ that was just awful. I have no clue what they were thinking.

I have a friend who follows PSU like we do Bama and he told me Franklin and staff are not ready for big time football. When it comes to making the key decisions they usually make the wrong one.

That seemed to be true in the OSU game.

I think he got into it with another coach while at Vandy.

When you make a chump ass call like that on 4th and 6 you deserve to be called out .......

It’s on of those calls that if you catch them off guard your a genius and if your tackled for a two yard loss your and idiot ....

Sooooooooo .

The last 8 minutes of the game reminded me of some small class HS coaching staff screw up a definite win!! You have a Heisman candidate at QB. You got to ride or die with the horse that brung you this far!! To run read option on 4th and 5 where there is a possibility that you man has to hand it off, your ass deserves to lose!!!
