🧑‍🤝‍🧑 / 🏡 France is considering criminalising listening to music without headphones on public transit

Yes. Just passed a lady in the grocery store about an hour ago that was blabbing on speaker phone. I wanted to knock the phone out of her hand and suplex her.
Join the conversation next time...works really well if you hear the person's name on the other end of the conversation. "Hey _, do you know where _ is?"

I do believe there is a line to be drawn here between sexes...to me, it seems like one does that a whole lot more than the other.

Would be awesome to have a little pocket sized EMP type device about the size of a cigarette lighter that would permanently disable any cell phones with 10 feet or so.

I worked with a few years ago that had a pocket device that would negate cell/digital signal in his emediate area. AT&T has them in sensitive areas. Also is use in 3685 on Corey station in the “code/code breaker” building.
I actually took down and rebuilt the fiber infrastructure in the building (under armed guard the entire time).

Corry station, there's a blast from the past. Went to school there in 96 and went back as an instructor in 2002. Definitely no phones allowed.
