This is a good read. Regarding the strength of schedule criterion, I hope that the committee members will take in to account the fact that non-conference games must be arranged several years in advance of the meeting date so that some matchups that look promising during the planning stage (e.g., West Virginia vs. Alabama 2014) seem much less so by game time.
