In 1925 Sewell struck out only 4 times in 608 at bats. In 1929 he stuck 4 times in 578 at bats. In 1932 he struck out 3 times in 503 at bats. During the 1929 season, Sewell went 115 games between punchouts. He ended his career with a rate of 62.6 at-bats per strikeout!
