He really didn't have time to show off his skills last night. Eryk has a tremendous take down and "ground & pound" skill set. But when you have that shot, you gotta take it. And at 40 seconds into the first round of his Pro fighting debut, Eryk had, and took that shot. Fighting southpaw, Eryk threw a straight left taking out his opponent for the K.O. The fun starts at the: 40 second mark...

i met him at an autograph signing once. he's a very nice guy and very easy to talk to. he was so laid back and so quiet and reserved. i guess he saved his attitude for the field, which i loved.

Also, not worth starting another thread for this but was happy to see Phillip Sims do well yesterday in pre-season for the Cards. He looked like a veteran QB, good progressions, stayed in pocket, pretty accurate on short to medium throws, a bit off on deep throws.

Come on Ditch, Hughes was a beast. I never recall him looking out of shape. He was knocked for his size at times, but not for a beer gut, man boobs, and cheeto dust in his navel with no sign of muscle tone anywhere like the dude in the video
