First of all, let me say I don't blame the players...it's the nature of the beast. I wonder how many NC's Bama would have had if Bama didn't have so many top-notch players going Pro after three years? Maybe no more than what Bama currently possesses, but Bama has seen a whole lot of talent leave early these past few years. The games Bama has lost over the past three years might have been victories had the talent not gone on to 'greener' pastures.

However I do agree with his sentiment that Bama has come down a notch and despite all these #1 recruiting rankings .. not producing as much on field.
Kind of how the CUM era ended in Florida. I truly believe we have lot of recruiting busts. I thought our QB are not very high caliber but other than one WR (and he is a transfer) the receiving corps are not that great either.

A couple or three losses a year and mentions of possible greatness are better than the Shula years. The dynasty ended in 2013. I was wrong thinking this team would be undefeated. I guess Bama is destined for two or three losses a year until Saban retires. Still pretty nice, especially if they don't lose to Tennersee or Awbarn.
