I know that season tickets are purchased through TIDEPRIDE, that you must pay additional money (depending on the seats) before you get to buy season tickets, and that there is a waiting list. All this acknowledge, here are my questions.

1) What was the face value of the tickets?

2) How many are on the waiting list? How long of a wait is there currently?

3) What must be done to secure one's place on the waiting list?

4) Strategy-wise if one wanted one level, but that level was not available, should/could that person accept/get a lower level in order to have a better chance at the desired level once the seats come open?

5) How does requesting 2 vs. 4 vs. 8 seats impact the speed at which one gets seats (i.e. Is it like a restaurant were a pair gets seated much earlier than "LBS, Party of 8"?) ?

6) How much/what kind of an impact will having the new upper deck have on getting into TIDEPRIDE?

I thank you all in advance.

Answers a lot there...just look through it.

Waiting list right now puts you at 5-6 years...at least that was at the beginning of the season.

If I were you, pick up the phone and call them...a lot easier than dealing with email exchanges in my experience.

Thanks Terry. Been to the site, which actually prompted these questions. I was hoping for some added incite, like that the waiting list is 5-6 years.

I'm asking here also because work makes it difficult to catch them when they are available...that, and I'm impatient and want answers yesterday.

The last time the waiting list came up in discussions I want to say the number was getting real close to 9-10K. That was over the summer before this season. I'm sure that number has gone up since then...basing that just on how the '08 season has played out.

Expansion: According to what I've found out we are looking at @ 9-10K additional seats. The skybox waiting list already has those booked up, and I figure out of the remaining seats 1/3rd would probably go to TidePride. What does that do to the waiting list? Hard to say...maybe cut it in half?

As you can see by that page, you can select one package/level but also lists what levels you would consider as well...so that one is answered.

Find two together is easier than finding 8 together. Simple logistics there...more money you spend, the better chance you'll have on getting more seats.

Actually, it doesn't completely answer the questions because options can be more complicated. For instance, if sitting in the endzone would improve one's chances of getting around to the sides while waiting, one my go that way vice just getting on that waiting list and buying sideline seats from scalpers in the mean time. Or, if one would rather have 4 sideline seats before 4 endzone seats, but would take 8 endzone seats over 4 sideline seats. Their "check-a-box" form does not easy address "the complicated fan".

AS for MORE MONEY, so requests for 8 together would trump those who are asking for 2 together? I have to think that because those on the waiting list slide in when a current season ticket holder ops out that getting the 8 together would be much more difficult.
