📝 Football recruiting 2021.

I think we currently have like two commitments and three decommitments. This virus canceled A LOT of Spring visits as most of our targets were visiting and planning on making early decisions. We have not lost any main targets from what I am hearing, yet, but everyone across the country has their work cut out for them with the entire Spring being canceled recruiting wise.

It's not hurting Ohio State. They have three 5-star and ten 4-star verbal commitments.

90% of those are from up North. Who else is a powerhouse up there that these kids can somewhat stay close to home and compete for titles? In the South you have Alabama, Clemson, LSU, and Georgia all fighting for the same guys, and they simply haven't made decisions because all of these schools are in the same region and closer proximity wise. I'm not saying the virus is an excuse, just stating it has probably kept us from a few commitments due to visits being canceled.

Saban is awesome at recruiting but this new way may not be aligned with his strengths. I suspect he will figure it out but just like the early signing it may take him some time to adjust.
