My nephew is an Alabama fan so I sent him to Saban's football camp for his birthday present this year. I hung around a bit the first day of camp and went back for the final day @ BDS. A few random thoughts...
Saban is a hell of a speaker when the media isn't present. I did think it was kind of funny that he kind of yelled at them the last day of the camp for not giving him their eyes and sitting on their helmets.
Coach Cochrane is absolutely hilarious. He is freakishly intense even when it is a field full of 8-14 yr olds.
1,170 kids at the camp.
The expansion is pretty well done. They are still repaving the walkway at field level on both sidelines and they still have some rows of bleachers to put down but it should be done relatively quickly. For those that haven't seen or want some pictures I have a few pictures of the expansion.
