To allow me to insult their intelligence is an affront to you, I suppose. Something that must be set right. You feel that to allow me to comment on anything without your disparaging retorts is somehow allowing me to win an imaginary game you are playing with yourself.

So what you are saying is, you NEVER listen to the show yet you know all the callers are stupid and therefore the listeners must be to? This reminds me of all those folks who talk about how evil and subversive the Harry Potter books are yet have never read them. If you dont listen to the shows how can you make an informed opinion on their quality or content? What you read on this forum about those shows should be taken as hearsay until you look into it yourself.

I personally dont like Finebaum, but I like the show with Barker, Curry, and DelGreco. Sometimes Finebaums show is good because he is able to get interviews with big name guests like Stallings.

Some shows are quite good and have intelligent callers and hosts. In my personal experience, the shows hosted by former players are much better than the ones hosted by "journalists" or "radio personalities" because the latter tend to be professional pot stirrers like Finebaum which tends to attract the worst callers. That doesnt mean that everyone who listens is just like B.O.B. or Phyllis.

I think they may room together off campus, not sure. Each of them seem very similar in posting styles though, as if they read each others Cliff notes.

I am not sure if they all share the same computer, but it is possible.

Nah, I don't know that all the listeners are stupid, but I bet most of the callers are. I have heard little snippets here and there of callers to sports shows and would switch the channel as fast as I could.

Maybe I will listen to the show with Barker on it, cjaytch, since you recommend it.

But, I don't believe I care to listen to Finebaum. I have read too many of his articles online to ever want to listen to him.

His style of prose is to play one side against the other, he isn't hard to figure out. From what I hear, that is what he does on the radio also.

CntrlAlt you should listen to Finebaum. You would love him. He basically takes things that are small and have no real story behind them and tries to put in peoples minds that they do. Kinda like what you did with Saban last week.
