🏀 Fla basketball player awake after midcourt collapse

Keyontae Johnson is awake and communicating with his parents and doctors after collapsing midcourt saturday during the UF-FSU basketball game.

A very positive development after yesterday he was in a medically induced coma. I was worried when his father said "there may be some brain activity", that part had me thinking the worst.

But today hes doing better and conscious as mentioned above per SEC Network's FB page.

I knew that much, but was curious as to why it occurred. Wasn't sure if they ever said? From the video, and I only saw it once, but it sorta looked like he just fainted/passed out, then hit his head/face on the court really hard. When they wheeled him off he appeared unconscious, but breathing and everything. Regardless, good to hear he's doing much better.
