So how many first round draft picks do you think we will have.

If Ro goes than he is a definite.
Cody will prolly be top 10 and top 5 if he does well at the combines.
Javy could be a frist rounder.

Well a few of the 'experts' had him in the first round after last year (projecting the 2010 draft) and if he performs well at the combine it's possible. Great cover corner (best corner in the SEC imo), very versatile for a defense, and one of the best return men in the nation. His biggest hurdle to climb is the size disadvantage he has. We all know the NFL covets those big DB's but its not impossible either. Production is production.

Deaderick, Mike Johnson, and Javy were all top 100 picks.

I'd be surprised if Woodall didn't get picked on the first day.

Washington and Deaderick should get some draft attention as well, probably second day.

Javy won't be a first rounder. Mel Kiper had him ranked as the #5 DB prospect at one point, I haven't seen a new list in quite some time so I don't know if he is still there. He may make the first day, but it'll be late. He is smallish to play corner in the NFL.

McClain (if he goes) and Cody are locks. Tiffin hasn't proven himself to be reliable enough to be a legitimate NFL kicker. If he breaks into the league it'll be second day or free agency.

While I doubt he's a first day pick, I think Javy will be returning punts and (eventually) be playing in a nickel package on Sundays. Tiffin will likely get signed as a free agent, because everybody NFL team wants to look at a couple of kickers in training camp.

While I really want Ro to stay, unless something happens to insure that the NFL won't change its rules to greatly reduce the money for first round picks it is just plain in his financial best interests to go after this season.

I agree would love to see him stay.
Im wondering though how much of an impact the tebow,bradford
injurys will have on players contemplating staying in college ball.
You know thats going to be a selling point with agents.:headscratch:

Just guessing here, but I'd think that Cody and McClain will be our only 1st rounders.
