As I understand this there is a 20 year history here. At what point is it a second chance? When this story popped I wondered if it was a push for Ferentz out the door.

Urban has learned a quick lesson. In the league, it's the players making decisions.

The owner, GM, and Urban extensively "vetted" Doyle and approved his hire only to have Doyle resign after 24 hours of the announcement. Urban is more tone deaf to societal issues than any coach I know of.
