• He was fired.

Another note on this one...before UArk finally settled on Cal, Tang was in the mix for that position. As I recall he ended up getting a raise, or an extension, or both because of their opening in Fayetteville. While I watched that job opening I didn't pay much attention to him as a candidate.

What Wade got fired over, as well as Pearl at Tennessee, was cheating, lying and covering it up. I don't think it's in the same area code as "well, it's legal now, so all is forgiven and let's bring him back". Both are rotten humans who should never have gotten a third or fourth chance.
