šŸ€ šŸ”„ Hot Seat 2026 : Mo Williams taking an assistant's job at UK under Pope.

All I know about this story:
  • They aren't winning.
  • The coach went on some rant last week
  • He was fired.
Another note on this one...before UArk finally settled on Cal, Tang was in the mix for that position. As I recall he ended up getting a raise, or an extension, or both because of their opening in Fayetteville. While I watched that job opening I didn't pay much attention to him as a candidate.

Fired for cause and Tom Mars enters the picture; again.

I saw a comment this morning that caught my attention. We have talked about the blue bloods of basketball for years. The observation was about blue bloods who, coincidentally, sport "blue." It was mentioned it's the first time since the mid-50's at least one of these teams—Kentucky, UNC, UCLA, and Kansas—aren't in the Sweet 16.
Wow, that is an amazing stat! The true blue bloods of college basketball and they do not make the Sweet 16.

I hold my share of respect for those who carry, "I don't give a damn what you think of me" personas.

I also hold the belief the people around LSU don't understand how many media members, as well as coaches, just don't like Will Wade. Or Lane Kiffin. And to a bit of a lesser degree, Krazy Kim.

Now. Weigh it with this.

There's only one blue blood; Duke. It's reported they have more invested in their roster than the other teams in the S16. I don't know if that is accurate.

There are no Cinderalla's.

It's not the same game.

Wade, Kim Mulkey and Lane Kiffin, what a bunch of egos to TRY to manage.

Casey. I recommended this idea to a guy that's in OK...he's in the shirt business as well.

"The Baton Rouges" is something I caught earlier today...that's a shirt. Put "Gueux" behind it at a light transparency...

Fired the guy and did rehired him back? I guess them hiring Kiffin, LSU head thinking it okay to rehired back!
Considering what he got fired for now is perfectly legal, so. It would be like the school and Oats parting ways with Holloway for the weed becaue currently it’s illegal, to only allow him back in June if weed was then declared legal in the state. Hypothetical in Holloway case but you get it.
