Urban Mayer may come of out the retirement for a big job...UCLA has been on the cheap for coaching for several years...They are going to pay someone big money to get that team back on the map..They are Big 10 now.. OR MAYBE KIFFIN..

They are going to make an offer Someone can't refuse to build that school back to where it's supposed to be... California has some of the best schools in football.. and it's Hollywood/LA... The Big Ten is the biggest money market in college football... even Nick Saban said that..
 
Gundy- people in Stillwater are not happy and I think heā€™s gone at the end of the year with some sort of ā€œmutual agreed uponā€ thing

Napier- Heā€™s as good as gone. People wanted him fired before this year, but if he doesnā€™t turn the ship around I donā€™t think he makes it to Halloween

I don't believe either side is happy. At the beginning of this year his contract was changed (should I say again, there's been disputes for awhile now) where he took at million dollar pay cut and the auto-renewal part of his contract was removed. His buyout is still up there; but it's structured over three years I believe. (Under fifty million, but twice that of Napier.)

...and among them we find Cal, and Stanford.

Upperclassmen at California football schools haven't seen a school from California win a national title.
 
I could see Va Tech firing Pry and going after Shane Beamer. There is already talk of that amongst tv folks. If Beamer were to go to VT......I could see SCjr going after Schuman. If memory serves me right....... @TerryP mentioned that Kirby had made the play (with the USC brass) to follow Spurrier when he hung it up. I think his ultimate goal was to coach SC 4-5 years and then come back to Bama and take over for Saban. UGA gambled and it paid off. I was shocked when they let Richt go.
 
I know VT is home for Beamer but he has a good thing going at USCe. I would think the ad and alumni at USCe would do everything they can to keep him.

Napier is burning up right now. You cannot lose games the way his team did, play the schedule they play and expect to stay very long.

Gundy, (I'm a man) has just become more and more insane with his antics. T. Boone Pikens kept him at Ok. St. With him being deceased, time for a change in Stillwater.

UCLA has been a mess for years. They play second fiddle to USCw even when the Trojans are down. The Bruins just cant seem to get anything right when it comes to a coaching hire. C. Chip Kelly did ok but left for greener pastures.

This is Napierā€™s ā€œsave meā€ season. Losing to USF, and the way they lost, puts him out the door.

Gundy - I donā€™t know how they keep him. Itā€™s a good school that needs a better coach and should be able to get one. Being a man isnā€™t going to save him.
