I honestly did not expect Auburn to lose that game. I thought they'd beat the shit out of UK and give Hugh at least 1 more week. Now? He may be gone by morning.Texted an auburn friend who is a mid level booster, but mingles at games with high level boosters... he's convinced that was High's last game. He normally has a good feel and solid insight for what's going on. Guess we will see soon....

It's time for him to back.I mean, if they did fire himā¦..who would want that job? That would be their third head coach firing in like 6 years

I donāt think Prime is on anyoneās short list, or at least the top tier jobs. Heās a different coach without his son and the Heisman winner. Was mediocre with them, is awful without them.
Charles Kelly?Well, they are unlikely to be able to give out a discount rate this time around like they got to use with Freeze. If they go with Durkin, they'll get a little bit of one, but other than that they'd have to go dumpster diving for a Jimbo. So then, unless they grab someone like James Franklin (which is unlikely) who would allow for the offset language discount, then they are stuck having to pay sticker prices. And whether it's a Sexton guy, an Armstrong guy, or someone else, anyone with any sense is going to back auburn into a corner with a favorable guaranteed buyout. Overall (in the CFB landscape), it's a good job, but it just comes with a ton of unwanted strings. And they have very little leverage on their end right now to make deals.

But he fits in so well! All he needs is a banjo and a slight increase in IQ points - he could be in Deliverance!Iām not convinced Heupel will stay at UT. Iād love to see them lose him and go into another tail spin. A guy can hope!
I don't know. I suspect it's more conformational bias.@TerryP serious question: Is the 'leadership' at AL.com as tilted toward the barn as we are led to believe?
