So now it's about mental health, and about race. I'd probably wig out if I was being fired for an affair, and stood to lose $5.5 million a year, and my family. If a pregnancy resulted from his affair as has been rumored, that probably had him on edge, particularly if he - as rumored - forced the girlfriend to have an abortion.

None of that is what I consider a "mental health issue", beyond suffering the consequences of moral failings and really stupid choices.

Back to the race issue, that he has a responsibility to his race to have been better. He's an individual, making individual choices. I'll never subscribe to that. He has a responsibility to his wife, his family, his employer, his coworkers and team. His assistants are late in the hiring cycle to be looking for landing spots, and if Michigan brings in or elevates someone who preserves much of the current staff, they won't have as much autonomy as a new coach might. He fired her. She snitched on him. He went looking for her like a G. She played victim and got him arrested.

I agree with you 100 percent. It bothers me that he's the one has to deal with this and rightfully so, but I think the woman should share the burden with him. She deserve to suffer consequences for participating in willy filly protein filled activities.

It takes two to tango, but men (or women) in power are subject to interest they wouldn't otherwise get - from opportunists; however, power can also embolden and make those think they're immune from consequences. We'll never know who the original pursuer was, but either one could've said "no" well before it crossed the line.

A time of testing, of preparation and of opportunity. His being in jail led to the opportunity to interpret Pharoah's dream, prepare Egypt for the famine, and ultimately save (and reunite with) his family.

Well said. I've heard it said that God has a dream and destiny for all of us but first there is a time of testing. Joseph was dreaming at 17 and stepped into his destiny at 40. His destiny was to preserve the blood line from which the Messiah would come.

It takes two to tango as they say, but he should pay the bigger price. People in power in some cases wouldnā€™t be pursued if not for their station, but in a lot of cases the person in power pursues and thinks they should get what they want, having a family be damned Bill Clinton is case in point, Iā€™m not sure in this case it was the same.

She got fired, told on him, he flipped his noodle, now he is in jail and charged with serious crimes.

She got fired? I havenā€™t seen that. Donā€™t blame the victim. Person in power taking advantage of underling?
