Finally got to watch the second half of the SECCG that I missed on Saturday. WHEW! Way to go, guys!

Now, a comment. Aaron Murray played a great game, a heroic game. Unfortunately for him (fortunately for us), his team fell short. When the game was over, I noticed Murray ran straight to the locker room. No "good game", no handshaking, nothing. I know he was extremely disappointed, but I was taught that you should be magnanimous in victory and gracious in defeat. Just a thought. Doesn't take away from Murray's game, but usually you see the two quarterbacks seek each other out. Not last Saturday.

Now, let's beat the stew outta the Irish. Get it? Stew? Irish? Irish stew! I'm sorry, fellas. Couldn't help myself.

He may have learned his lesson from Tebow (and McCarron) about crying on TV. Between losing in such a heartbreaking fashion and having it happen with your coaches not calling the play you wanted, I can see not wanting to stick around for that. I'm sure he saw/called AJ later on, the two seem fairly friendly and gave a big hug before the game. Murray acted super classy post-game about that hit he took. Needless to say, I don't think it was a sportsmanship issue, I think it was other things.
