Some other good intel in this tweet. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p>Which SEC team has posted more shutouts since 2007 than any FBS school in the country? <a href="http://t.co/xZBSNuTAUy">http://t.co/xZBSNuTAUy</a></p>&mdash; CSS (@csssports) <a href="https://twitter.com/csssports/statuses/385889821954023424">October 3, 2013</a></blockquote>

ALABAMA

The Crimson Tide did what the Crimson Tide does best… play defense! Alabama allowed just 205 total yards to Ole Miss and posted a shutout in a 25-0 win. Shutouts are nothing new to Alabama. Since the beginning of the 2007 season, when Nick Saban started his current reign, the Crimson Tide has 11 shutouts. The next best SEC team in shutouts since 2007 is Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss and Missouri each with four. The 11 total is also the best in the FBS. Here are those top five:

Alabama: 11 shutouts
Boise State: 8 shutouts
Rutgers: 8 shutouts
TCU: 7 shutouts
Ohio State: 7 shutouts

Man, Kentucky should be ashamed of this record as well, losing to Florida 27 years in a row...since 1987.
