Since we won't get a chance to see Rolo in a Bama uniform again let's talk about some of our favorite memories of #25.

I remember his Freshman year with the cast on his hand in the Bowl Game that big pick he had early on. Then there's the incredible game he had against Kentucky. Probably one of the better single performances by a player I've ever seen. 12 tackles, a forced fumble that Upshaw returned for a TD, a INT, and another pass that he batted up into the air so that Anders could pick off. Then there's the sack against Auburn this year on 3rd Down that led to a 4th and a mile forcing them to punt so we could go for the game winning drive. And one of my favorite memories was the South Carolina game where they really showcased the way he checks off and changes the defense by what the oppossing QB does. I remember the commentators just being in awe of him. Thanks for the memories RO!

I remember the moment I realized just how special he was. It was during the 2007 Auburn game and he was playing through pain.

freshman year against auburn.. about 30 seconds left and he is the only one pissed on the field that alabama got manhandled.. i told my buddies, "look at that, a freshman is the only one that thinks this is unacceptable.. he will be the beginning of a change at alabama" i get choked up thinking bout it.. he was a man among boys, even when he was a boy among men..

what are they projecting his draft at? I would HAVE to imagine top 5, just because of his ability to grasp a pro style defense in college, not to mention his phyical size and skills.

I have been hearing first rounder, but not top 5.

Too many great memories of Rolando to pick only one. I will certainly miss him and I wish him all luck in the NFL. I hope he dominants like he did in CF.

Yeah I remember that Auburn game, he had like 12 tackles that game too. I think he had double digit tackles against AU all three years...

And the last projection I saw was him going #9 to Denver.

Verna will always fondly remember the time that Rolando Mcain ran for president against Barak Obama.

Yeah, I know Mustin was in on that hit, but make no mistake. McClain brought the wood on that one. As I watched Mustin dance around and take the credit for the hit, it was McClain that I noticed walking back to the huddle.

It was at that moment in his young career that I knew he wasn't a "hype" player. No, he was all business from the time he walked on campus.
