I bred & sold Rottweilerā€™s. A very common thing about purebreds is many will breed the dogs to achieve the type of dog that is desired. Once the breed is satisfactory they will take the female offspring and breed it with the ā€œgrandfatherā€ to set the breed. I never practiced this but read about it in my AKC mags. You will never know it unless you order the expanded family tree for your dog. My first male was probably done this way because of his desire to attack someone if he thought I was being threatened, he became so enraged that he died from a heart attack. I had been thinking that I needed to put him down. 8 months old & under voice command any other time. Investigate the breeders. One doesnā€™t always get the same results when dipping into gene pools. Look at what eventually happened with the Hapsburg Royal house.
