📡 👀 Looking to Ole Miss: Game Time Adjusted Due to Hurricane Delta

From what I understand, the hope is to play the game in Oxford. If it's moved it they'd want that done today and that appears unlikely as of now. The game time is up in the air, depending on the speed of the storm. Some models apparently show it speeding up, which would mean a later kick would be best. I'd imagine they will expand the kickoff window to pretty much 11-8 and prepare to have the team stay overnight Saturday in case it's needed, and travel back early Sunday morning.

Here is the latest forecast track (pretty much same as this morning)...

Saban's comments earlier this evening during his press conference echoed what was coming out of the football complex earlier today. They want to play on Saturday if at all possible, but the game time is flexible to try and miss the bulk of the rain/wind. From what I understand, if the game is moved from Saturday, it'll be because conditions are suddenly expected to be much worse than they are as of now (unlikely), or because the SEC steps in and forces it. Saban did not want to play on Friday but especially doesn't want to play on Sunday, or move the game to the bye week later in the year. The UA admin wanted no part of moving it to Tuscaloosa if that came with future conditions (ie, playing at Ole Miss next year). Plus, playing conditions could possibly be worse in T-Town than in Oxford if the current track holds. Basically, pack the rain gear and make the most of it. Bama by 90.

Alabama/Ole Miss Kickoff Time Moved Back Due to Hurricane Delta

Per the SEC office, kickoff is now set for 6:30 p.m (CT) between the University of Alabama and Ole Miss on Saturday night inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Miss.
It was originally schedule for 5 p.m and will be televised by ESPN.
This story will be updated.
