šŸ“” šŸ‘€ Looking to Ole Miss: Game Time Adjusted Due to Hurricane Delta

After only two games I don't see the 4th in the conference as any indicator of how well Bama defends the run. After all, LSU (ranked above Alabama) only defended the run against LSU less than ten times. It was either six or eight attempts, was it not? People can point to UGA's run defense at less than 100 per game. However, they've played two of the bottom three in the conference in rushing yards.
I know I keep beating this horse but I just want to see the days where the other team simply gives up trying to run. It should be hopeless and they know it. The reason they are abandoning the run these days is Bama has scored so quickly that the other team has to go into catch up mode. I am still reeling from the D last year which certainly effects my view of this year. At times the D Line is not staying in their gaps, tackling has had some struggles and the pass rush has not been there so far. Fans of Bama know what good D looks like w/o needing to compare to UGA. We have experienced it first hand more times than not.

With that said, I have seen more potential with this D than last years so I am cautiously optimistic. I will be the first to celebrate if/when it comes together.

also played poor to mediocre opponents....
Gets ramped up next week

Hopefully not many since they’ll be playing in tropical storm conditions. I can’t believe the game time/day hasn’t been changed.
IMO, if that's the case Saturday this game won't be played at the time it's scheduled. Living in an area where these things happen often it leads me to think about things other than the game, playing field, etc. It's a lot like snow, for lack of a better example. People will hit the road to avoid dealing with tropical storm weather and that leads to traffic nightmares.

Looks like a mess to me.....Mississippi Saturday is dead in middle....but ut-uga is going to be wet...AU-ARK...

but....in Mississippi its going to be awful....sunday isnt much better...

and as pointed out...traffic fleeing SLa...and gulf coast....

just move game to Tampa.....still 50%....or cancel

From what I understand, the hope is to play the game in Oxford. If it's moved it they'd want that done today and that appears unlikely as of now. The game time is up in the air, depending on the speed of the storm. Some models apparently show it speeding up, which would mean a later kick would be best. I'd imagine they will expand the kickoff window to pretty much 11-8 and prepare to have the team stay overnight Saturday in case it's needed, and travel back early Sunday morning.

but its not just game. Its people from gulfarea gettin to high ground

anyway. I liked moving to Atlanta from @eatidefan. Just play some ball

Yeah, here's the current cone, another should be out in an hour. This path shows it most likely to be almost directly over Oxford at 1pm Saturday and not being meaningfully distant at any time Saturday evening. It will be a mess if they play it there, I think they moved back to natural grass a few years ago. The wind will definitely deter a long passing game.
