This is why social media is killing this generation. The typed word doesn’t provide any personality, inflection on words, etc. People read it and “assume” the worst.
I’m glad that he was able to clear that tweet up and I pray for his grandmother to have a full recovery.

True, but we are talking about 18-19 year old kids that don’t always take advantage of the English language to express themselves. I have a 16 and soon to be 18 year old that do the exact same thing. Twitter also limits the amount of characters too.
