🏈 Expansion season tickets

A previous thread here referenced an announcement that the expansion would got to the students, the faculty/staff, and to the A-Club, so No is the answer to your question, nor will they. Now that said, the announcement was not so worded that it ruled out that the seats would be filled by those that are simply relocated from other locations in the stadium, thus opening up seat elsewhere. But, that too has yet to be addressed.

Since last season the TIDEPRIDE waiting list has grown from roughly 10,000 to 16,000. It appears that $80MM+ was spent while taking in ZERO of the dollars standing in line outside. :lance: While we talk about Money is King, and Conference expansion is driven by money, and money is what has made us strong, other than honoring the A-Club we choose the two groups who contribute the least for their seats. 8,000 seats (times) $100 per seat in missed scholarship contributions (equals) one heck of a missed opportunity for a bunch of qualified students. I'm not saying that all 8,000 should have gone to TIDEPRIDE, but I am saying that some of them should have gone to those who have already been in line for 6-7 years.

Expansion Season Tickets.

I am new to this forum, and this is my first post. Hello to everyone. To answer your question, My wife and I have been on the season ticket waiting list for 6 years and I received my order form in the mail last week to order season tickets. I think that some seats are opening up to people that have been on the TidePride waiting list. I wish the very best to all on this forum. ROLL TIDE!!!:a::a::a::elephant::elephant::hyper::hyper::hyper:

Welcom to the forum, and congrats on getting tickets...ol'buddy ol'pal o'l best friend

When I first dropped my name on the list, I was told by that office that there were roughly 10,000 on the list and that my wait at number 10,000 would be about 5-7 years. So you getting tickets is perfectly in line with having nothing to do with the expansion.

Again, having looked for word, and having asked the TIDEPRIDE office, I have not found a straight answer to the original question.

Again, welcome to the forum.

Thanks LBS, I think the TIDEPRIDE office has to much going on. I have called several times and experienced long hold time and trouble getting info. I know they are doing the best they can.

Thanks for the welcome and good luck on getting tics. If I am not able to attend any games, would you be interested in purchasing them? Not sure how my work schedule will be this fall. I wish you the best. RTR!!!

Let me check my pulse...still alive, so Yeah I'm interested. The catch is that I'm military and scheduled to test the theory that one can watch the games from Afghanistan. My wife has already made clear to me that she would not let me being deployed keep her from trying to make a game...I love that woman.

AFN will carry most CBS and ESPN games. I was deployed during the 2008 season and I was able to catch most of the bigger games if I wasn't working. You can also watch them on the internet depending on where in OEF you're going.
Thanks brother. I figured that had a shot at least.

I recall watching the Clemson game two years ago on a recumant bike in the Gym in Qatar a few years ago. It was so early in the morning that I had the Gym virtually to myself. The TCNs had no clue, but they thought I was funny shouting at and cheering all by my self.
