🏈 ESPN's Top 50 CFB Players

CFBrank 2017, 25-1: College football's top 50 players

This is one of the most bullshit lists I have seen in a VERY long time. They've got defensive linemen that haven't even played an entire season, a quarterback at UCLA that has not lived up to the immense height of his ranking and the tug job that Mike Ferrel gives him every time he speaks about him, and a #1 player that has played one year as a Freshman! Let's not even begin to discuss Auburn's transfer quarterback that hasn't played an entire season, yet winds up in the Top 25. One last gripe, USC's quarterback at #2? Come on now, sure he had a good run last year and saved their season, but he is not the second best player in college football. I feel it takes a little more than padded stats against less competition and mediocre stats against actual competitors to be considered the second best player in the country. I'd rather see Baker Mayfield or Lamar Jackson at #1 and #2 with Fittypat at #3 or even #2. Guice is a stud and I have no problem where he is as I think outside of our game he's gonna run roughshod over the other competition, like last year. I just can't get over this list, it really shows that hype means more than actual results and statistics. I hate rooting against a college kid, but I hope Rosen falls flat on his cocky ass face. Nothing worse than a cocky person that hasn't earned it.

Where is D'ron Payne at on here? I would also have Jonah Williams on there inside too 50.

Seemed to be a huge FSU bias to that list. Great players no doubt but they kill Scarborough because of injury issues and Mcfadden, James and sweat have had very similar issues in college.

Also, Francious may turn into this player but he didn't do enough to be that far ahead of hurts who led his team of studs to the championship game.
