Carefully read what I said… total facts too… Saban even confirms most of it… it’s very hard to motivate number one teams all season…He wants an underdog much maligned team in big games…He hates going in a game with all the bets on his guys to win… and I cant blame him..

It made plenty of sense…Saban likes the underdog role… are you just wanting to argue?...Saban uses rat poison thing… He loved going into the SEC UGA game the underdog… No one thought we had a chance…Then he rammed it down the medias’ throat when we won…”The rat poison you fed us this week was yummy”… He used the disrespect and media statements to his advantage.. That is the best way he reaches some of these five star players now.. He uses the hate spewed against us to his advantage..

I believe we lost Johnny Manziel when we were number one..
We lost the LSU several times when we were number one…
Jimbo Fisher when we were number one…
Auburn when we were number one several times..
UCLA when we began the season number one under DuBose…
Mississippi state under the Bear when we were number one…
TenASSee when we were number one…
Almost forgot urban Meyer when we when we were at # …one

Agree... This team is going to go back to winning more balanced and old school. If we can dominate the line of scrimmage we will be fine. Looking forward to seeing some much more fundamental play on both sides of the ball. Do not get me wrong, I did not mind seeing those great offensive weapons running up and downt the field but was so frustrated watching subpar Bama Defenses and running game.
