Urban Meyer's Wife Rips ESPN Anchor Over 'Family' Jab

Urban Meyer's wife was FURIOUS!!!

"Look at Urban Meyer. He was going to spend time with his family, went to this game instead."

That's a comment an ESPN anchor made on-air during a highlight package of Ohio State's game against Clemson on Saturday ... and it had Urban Meyer's wife FURIOUS!!!

Of course, Meyer said he was stepping down from OSU's head coaching role last season to spend more time with his fam after health issues ... but when he was spotted on the Buckeyes' sideline during their huge Fiesta Bowl game over the weekend, it raised some eyebrows.

She's right, but damn, she's really tweeting about this? And of course she doesn't like ESPN, her husband is currently employed by Fox.

You'd think she'd have thicker skin by now.

Urban has set the tone for the whole family, care about what others think and say. Tough way to live life fretting about what others say. I know this is a whole other level that most of us experience because of it goes out to so many people but that is the industry Meyer is in.

It's just the irony of her moral outrage.... Dude makes an easy crack on a guy who has lied his ass off, multiple times, and she's offended.

And if you believe Zach Smith's ex wife, she's well aware of Urban's moral deficiencies.

But ultimately that was just a funny ass take by Anderson... He said what most everyone was thinking going back to the "heart" issue at Florida
