TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- ESPN's College GameDay will be live on the scene outside Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, for Alabama's season opener against Michigan.
The three-hour show, which airs Saturday from 8-11 a.m. CT, was in the same vicinity as the Crimson Tide on three occasions last season. It came to Tuscaloosa for the Nov. 5 showdown with LSU and was also on the scene for the Iron Bowl in Auburn and in New Orleans for the BCS national championship game.
GameDay opened the season outside Cowboys Stadium last year, too, when LSU and Oregon played in the third annual Cowboys Classic.
This installment marks the 23rd time Alabama has been playing at the show's location. Fourteen of the 23 have come since Nick Saban arrived in 2007.
The usual suspects will be with the show for its 26th season: Host Chris Fowler, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, David Pollack, Tom Rinaldi and others
