Buy a paddle.
Sure, gonna try to find one somewhere, but guess the thing will be quite large to be able to fit into my storage room. Huh? :think:

Anyway, we still have an ESPN player but the service is the worst I've ever seen and very much overpaid. In fact, I'm not sure if the product is actually owned by ESPN because it's crap, but I don't know what is the experience and the QoS for you folks about the streaming on WatchESPN. Are y'all satisfied?

Don't disagree with you guys. I'm not a big fan of ESPN, I've shared my opinion over the last few years on this site.

But...they still have games on TV that I like to watch, if you are someone who's wanting to cut the cord to lower your cable bill and you watch sports, this is about the most viable option on the market.

Only reason I'm interested in it.

According to their FAQs, here are the channels you'd get. Very very appealing with the add-ons.

I signed up for the invite, the only way to get it pre-public availability, but haven't received it yet. I believe the original launch date was February 9th, tomorrow, so I must not have made the cut.

It's worth the $20 to $25 per month to me. I'll still save over $62 per month on cable TV and have all but 3 of the channels we normally watched on Charter Cable; History, H2, and A & E.

Now if they'll get it working with Apple TV.......

@planomateo, fyi.

I received my invite early this morning and signed up. The first 7 days are free. The only hangup is it doesn't work directly with Apple TV so I had to download the app onto my laptop and then stream it to our TV using the Apple TV display. Everything still works except it ties up my laptop to the TV. Whatever is displayed on my laptop is what is shown on the TV. I have sent an email to customer support asking about a time frame for Apple TV and if it's going to be awhile, I may just go ahead and buy a Roku 3 which works directly with Sling TV.

But the video and audio quality is great. So far so good.
