Good landing spot for Sumlin since defense isn't a big worry for PAC 12 teams. I do wonder now if Banks will reconsider and go to Arizona with Sumlin.

Will be a huge opportunity for Sumlin. Don't think he's a bad coach but def let things get away from him at TAMU. For whatever reason never got the Devensive part right, kinda like Les at LSU couldn't get the O rolling.

You've stated your opinions about Shula and they are akin to what you're saying here about Sumlin. What's interesting about both is they never had control of their team(s.) In both cases, a lot stemming from how they treated a quarterback.

Good news for Arizona is he's recruited some blue chip QB's... Lots of em... Bad news is the position has been an absolute turnstyle! From Kyle Allen to Kenny Trill, Murray, Knight, Hubanek, Mond, etc.

A&M got some money.

Arizona is traditionally a once in a decade program where they'll jump up and grab a PAC title. So far, that's Sumlin without the title--once in a decade coach.
