I can see the point they are making. It's great to win 12 games no doubt, but when you get blown out in the bowl game because your team didn't show up. It makes us all look bad.

Although I think it's funny when we lose it's EPIC and when USC does it's a fluke. Funny how it works out.

Because deep down, people not from the south know that they are not as tough or as good as people from the south. Why does Bama get so much hate? We are tougher than they are as a people. It's fear.

Then after beating #4 Alabama the 2nd best team in the SEC and former ranked #1... Who played flat and uninspired football after learning their Outland trophy winner Andre Smith would be suspended for the game!

Still doesn't garner enough respect from the media or talking heads... sports writers and finish #2 and #4!

You're right, that truly is an epic fail on the part of the media and talking heads. Many of whom freely admitted they had not seen Utah play all season prior to the Sugar Bowl. If you're going to be biased enough to just ignore certain teams and simply pretend they don't exist, then you have no business casting a vote in the first place.

Just my humble opinion, of course.

You guys earn the rest though absolutely! The media that is touting you guys and saying you guys got screwed...are the same media that said you didn't belong! So for every mid-major who wants to bash the SEC and their fans and stating that we are part of the problem is off base! I was just confronted by a BSU fan at the store when he seen my hat! he talked to me like it was my damn fault that they are not included! I told him yea and I made it snow last week up here! delusional fanbase...un-freaking believable! Talk about misguided!

If I said what I thought of the bulk of the Boise State fanbase, I'd probably end up getting banned. :wink: Truly delusional would be a gross understatement. It's one thing for Utah to make an argument for #1 after finishing with a decent SOS, beating 2 top ten teams, 4 ranked teams, and 6 bowl teams, but quite another for Boise to bitch about things when they have one of the lowest SOS in the country and played exactly one semi-decent team (Oregon) prior to their bowl.
